Lost Property

According to the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission rules, property found by a driver in a taxicab must be returned to the passenger if possible; otherwise, it must be taken without delay to the police precinct closest to where the passenger was discharged.

For inquiries regarding lost property in one of our Taxicabs, please contact the number below Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm or email us anytime.

In order to assist you we will need the following:

  • Taxicab Medallion #
  • Date and Time of Cab Ride
  • Full Description of Item(s)
  • Your Contact Information

We’ll do our best to relay the information to the driver or with the driver’s consent provide you with their contact information.

**Please note that Queens Medallion Leasing doesn’t collect or hold on to any lost property and is in no way responsible for any items left behind. However we’ll do everything possible to help you recover your belongings.**
